The challenge of this project was to assist users in registering their domain in an intuitive way through a simple and fast ordering process. The funnel also needed to facilitate easy upgrades with additional packages.

My role
In my role as UX/UI lead, I was responsible for designing a new website with a focus on the overall user experience. Over the course of a year, together with the team, we analyzed and iteratively improved the ordering process.

Design process
The design process followed a user-centered design approach and utilized personas to understand the users better. This enabled us to design the new website with the best user experience in mind, tailored to the specific needs and goals of the personas.
Low fidelity – High fidelity – UI design
By analyzing the ordering process and iteratively improving it, I learned how small adjustments can have a significant impact on the user experience and conversion.
Additionally, I experienced how personas can be a valuable tool in understanding the users and aligning the design with their needs and goals.
The use of a user-centered design approach helped me to prioritize the user and their experience throughout the process.
Result
Through iterative improvements to the funnel, we have developed a successful website where users can register their domain quickly and easily. The adjustments have resulted in higher conversion rates and an improved user experience.
